The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care, commonly adhered to as ‘FREC 3’ is one of the most sought after entry-level medical responder qualifications.
The award opens the FREC path, which can lead to obtaining the license needed for work as an HCPC registered Paramedic, however this course is one of the few qualifications recognised by Security Industry Authority (SIA) for licensing of the Close Protection Officers (CPOs).
Intended Audience
• Close Protection Officers (CPOs) and any professional who requires the qualifications for gaining or maintaining their license.
• Professionals working in high risk and/or hostile environments, who require medical care training that would be more advanced than standard First Aid at Work, examples include hostile environment journalists and photographers, TV, film and cabin crews, Non-Governmental Organisations workers and expedition leaders.

We have engaged highly regarded medical trainers, who have proved experience not only as para-medics, but also as hostile environment and battle field first responders.
